Return Policy
At Ethnicmela.in (Ethnic Mela India Pvt Ltd.), we value your satisfaction and strive to ensure that every shopping experience is delightful. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) under the terms stated below.

SHIPPING
We offer free one-way shipping across India on all orders placed through Ethnicmela.in.

RETURNS
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivered date.
To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.
  • The item must be in its original packaging with all tags and invoices intact.

All returns require photo and video verification before return approval. The verification ensures the product is received in its original condition and prevents misuse of the return policy.

If the returned item is found used, damaged, or not in its original packaging, the return request will be declined.

RETURN CHARGES
If a return is approved, the one-side courier payment will be deducted from the Invoice Value.

REFUNDS
All returns and refunds are processed only in the form of store credits with 1 Year Validity.
Store credits will be issued once the returned product reaches our warehouse and passes quality inspection.
These credits can be used for future purchases on Ethnicmela.in and are non-transferable or refundable in cash/bank form.

RETURN PROCESS

  1. To initiate a return, please contact our support team or visit the Returns section on our website.
  2. Provide clear photo and video proof of the product (before initiating the return).
  3. Once approved, our courier partner will arrange pickup within 3–5 business days.
  4. The pickup attempt will be made up to three times. If the pickup is unsuccessful after three attempts, the request will be automatically cancelled.
  5. Returns that do not meet the eligibility or verification criteria will not be processed.

 

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS In the unlikely event that a product is received damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and submit photo and video evidence (preferably a complete unboxing video).
Once verified and approved, our team will arrange for the exchange and if size is unavailable then store credits will be issued accordingly.


NOTE

  • Returns initiated without photo and video proof will not be approved.
  • One-side courier cost must be paid by the customer for any return.
  • Ethnicmela.in reserves the right to reject any return request if the item fails verification or quality inspection.
  • Returns or exchanges are not accepted for products marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable on the product page.
  • All disputes are Subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction only.
  • Ethnicmela.in (Ethnic Mela India Pvt. Ltd.) reserves the rights to update/modify/change the above policies in timely manner as and when required.
  • For alteration requirements, our Professional masters will take measurements on a video call. As we are taking virtual measurements if any minor alteration is required after receiving an order, you need to do it at your end.
